Gardeners start your trowels! Spring is here and so is Horticulture Horizons! Sponsored by the TRU’s Horticulture Program and TRU Friends of the Garden this one day conference features horticulture experts with how to’s on backyard ponds, adding edible plants to the ornamental landscape, grafting, composting and saving back yard pollinators.  Keynote speaker is Douglas Justice, associate director and curator of collections at UBC Botanical Garden.

Great Food Included: As always, both the coffee breaks and lunch will be prepared by the Culinary Arts Department here at TRU. The Culinary Arts students produce amazing treats under the guidance of their instructors and  lunch always promises to be a tasty affair!
